New Zealand batter Chad Bowes has made headlines by setting a world record for the fastest double century in List A cricket. He achieved this remarkable feat while playing for Canterbury in the domestic One Day Trophy.

Bowes completed his double century in just 103 balls during a match against Otago Volts at Hagley Oval. Canterbury batted first, posting an impressive total of 343 runs for the loss of 9 wickets in their allotted 50 overs.

In his innings, Bowes scored a sensational 205 runs, smashing 7 sixes and 27 fours. This performance adds to his experience, having represented New Zealand in 6 One Day Internationals (ODIs) and 11 Twenty20 matches, while also playing 99 matches in List A cricket.
