Pakistan leveled the three-match T20I series against South Africa with a thrilling 13-run victory at the Multan Cricket Stadium on Wednesday.
The win came on the back of a superb batting performance from the hosts, who posted a total of 181 for four in their 20 overs.
Former Pakistan captain Nida Dar played a significant role in the win, completing her 2,000 T20I runs during her innings of 29. She joined an elite club of Pakistani women cricketers who have achieved this milestone.
South Africa, despite a valiant effort, fell short of the target, finishing on 168 for five. Sune Luus top-scored for the visitors with a quickfire 53 not out.
The series now stands at 1-1, with the deciding match set to be played on Friday.
