Leading the charge at the top of the order is India’s dynamic opener, Rohit Sharma
Former South African pacer Chris Morris has revealed his all-time T20 XI, comprising some of cricket's most illustrious names.
Leading the charge at the top of the order is India’s dynamic opener, Rohit Sharma who is known for his ability to score big runs. At number three, Morris has opted for the legendary AB de Villiers, his former Proteas teammate.
The former pacer argues that de Villiers, who has the unique ability to turn games on their head, deserves to face the most deliveries, stating, “At three, probably my best player, I would put him in, because he needs to face more balls than anyone, and that's AB de Villiers.”
Virat Kohli, renowned for his consistency and chasing prowess, slots in at number four. The middle order boasts the explosive Kieron Pollard at number five, celebrated for his devastating finishing skills. Meanwhile, the captaincy and wicketkeeping duties are entrusted to MS Dhoni, whose calm demeanor and leadership are invaluable assets.
In the lower middle order, the former pacer has included all-rounder Hardik Pandya at number seven, blending aggressive batting with effective seam bowling. West Indies' spin all-rounder Sunil Narine takes the number eight spot.
The bowling attack features a deadly trio: India’s Jasprit Bumrah at number nine, Sri Lanka’s Lasith Malinga at number ten and rounding out the XI is Australia’s Brett Lee at number eleven.
