Despite the final win, England secured the series 2-1
After suffering defeats in the first two Tests, New Zealand claimed a commanding victory over England by 423 runs in the final match of the series.
England won the toss and chose to bowl first. New Zealand, in their first innings, scored 347 runs, while England managed only 143 runs, leaving them 204 runs behind.
In their second innings, New Zealand added 453 more runs, setting England a daunting target of 658 runs to win. England was bowled out for 234 runs in their second innings, falling short by a huge margin.
Mitchell Santner of New Zealand was named the Man of the Match, while England's Harry Brook earned the title of Player of the Series.
In the first Test, England defeated New Zealand by 8 wickets in Christchurch, and in the second Test, they triumphed by 323 runs. Despite the final win, England secured the series 2-1.
