In the second ODI between Pakistan and Australia in Adelaide, Pakistan’s captain Mohammad Rizwan found himself in an unusual situation with Australian leg-spinner Adam Zampa. The moment, which left Rizwan red-faced, was caught on the stump mic and had fans and commentators laughing.

During the 34th over of Australia's innings, fast bowler Naseem Shah delivered a bouncer to Zampa, who tried to pull it but missed. Rizwan appealed for a catch, but the umpire quickly dismissed it. Then, in a surprising twist, Rizwan consulted Zampa himself to ask if he’d edged the ball. Zampa, sensing an opportunity for humor, replied, "You seem to appeal for everything." Rizwan laughed and asked, "Should I take the review now?" Zampa encouraged him by saying, "You should take it."

Rizwan followed through and went for the review, only for the decision to show that the ball had missed both Zampa’s bat and glove. The review was lost, leaving Rizwan in an embarrassing situation. However, Zampa didn’t last long at the crease; he was dismissed in the very next over by Shaheen Afridi for 18 off 21 balls, as Australia ended up all out for just 163 runs.

It is worth noting that Pakistan bowlers had a fantastic day, reducing Australia to one of their lowest scores against Pakistan in ODIs. Shaheen Afridi and Haris Rauf led the charge, sharing eight wickets between them. Afridi took 3-26, while Rauf claimed a stunning 5-29 in his spell. Quick bowlers Naseem Shah and Mohammad Hasnain also contributed with a wicket each.
