Pakistan is ready to continue its winning streak as they face England in the third and final Test match, starting Thursday, October 24, at the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium.

After losing the first Test by an innings and 47 runs in Multan, Pakistan bounced back with a strong performance. They leveled the series with a 152-run win over England at the same venue.

Despite missing key players like Babar Azam, Shaheen Afridi, and Naseem Shah, Pakistan's spin bowlers played a crucial role, helping them end a six-match winless streak in the World Test Championship. Spinners Sajid Khan and Noman, along with Kamran Ghulam's impressive century, proved too tough for the England batters.

In the first Test, England set a record total of 823 runs but struggled in the second Test, scoring less than 300 in their first innings and under 200 in the second. Pakistan used the same pitch from the first Test for their advantage, which seemed to favor spin bowling.

To prepare for the match, Pakistan has made the Rawalpindi pitch even more spin-friendly by using giant fans and heaters to dry it out. However, they are aware of their challenging record against England.

Head-to-Head Record:

In the head-to-head record between Pakistan and England in Test matches, England leads with 30 wins out of 91 encounters, while Pakistan has won 22 times. There have also been 39 draws. In their last five meetings, England has won four times, with Pakistan's only victory coming in the recent match in Multan. At home, Pakistan has won 5 out of 16 Tests against England, with 6 losses and 16 draws.

At the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium, Pakistan has a mixed record, winning 5, losing 6, and drawing 4 out of 15 matches. Their last Test at this venue ended in a 6-wicket loss to Bangladesh. England won their only Test at Rawalpindi, scoring a massive 657 runs in their innings. Despite a strong response from Pakistan, who posted 579 runs, they eventually lost by 74 runs.
