President Asif Ali Zardari has extended his congratulations to the Pakistan cricket team for their victory over England in the Multan Test. He commended the team’s outstanding performance, particularly highlighting the significant role played by the spinners in securing the win.

Zardari expressed hope that this excellent performance will continue in future matches.

Meanwhile, Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Chairman Mohsin Raza Naqvi also congratulated the team on their success in the Multan Test. He specifically noted the impressive bowling displays by Sajid Khan and Nauman Ali, which were crucial to the victory.

Naqvi further remarked that Kamran Ghulam showcased his full potential by scoring a century in the very first match, emphasizing that the long-awaited success in a home Test match is the result of strong teamwork.

In his message, Naqvi expressed confidence that the team will deliver another excellent performance in the final Test against England and claim the series.

It is worth mentioning that Pakistan defeated England by 152 runs in the second Test match played in Multan, leveling the three-match series at 1-1. Pakistan set a target of 297 runs for the English team after scoring 221 runs in their second innings. However, the visiting team struggled against Nauman Ali and Sajid Khan, unable to withstand their bowling on the fourth day of play.
