Former Pakistan cricketer and ex-chairman of the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), Ramiz Raja, didn’t miss an opportunity for humor while on commentary duty during the third and final Test match between Pakistan and England in Rawalpindi.

Raja cracked a joke about India’s recent low score during the ongoing Test series between India and New Zealand.

India faced a batting collapse in the first innings against New Zealand, bowled out for a mere 46 runs, marking their lowest Test total at home. Their all-time lowest score in Test cricket remains the infamous 36 against Australia.

Despite this setback, India rallied in the second innings with a resilient score of 462, led by Sarfaraz Khan’s remarkable 150 and Rishabh Pant’s spirited 99. However, New Zealand’s significant first-innings lead of 402—powered by Ravindra's century and Conway's 91—ultimately sealed the game in their favor.

Ramiz Raja, known for his humor, shared, “Michael Atherton told me that India were bowled out for 46 runs, so I’ve made it my mobile ringtone.”

New Zealand’s victory marked only their third-ever Test win in India and their first after a 36-year wait, making it a landmark moment in the rivalry between the two teams.
