The Multan Police Department has rolled out an extensive security plan ahead of the Test series between Pakistan and England.

With the first Test set to begin on October 7 at Multan Cricket Stadium, strict measures are being put in place to ensure a safe and smooth event for all attendees.

Chief Police Officer (CPO) Sadiq Dogar announced that over 5,000 police officers and personnel will be deployed for the Multan Test, alongside support from traffic police, the elite force, and other security agencies. These measures aim to maintain order and address any potential security concerns during the match.

CPO Dogar also revealed that a large-scale search operation is underway around key areas, including the stadium's vicinity, to further enhance safety protocols.

For spectators attending the match, parking will be available at Fatima Jinnah Town, from where a special shuttle bus service will transport fans to the stadium.

The first Test between Pakistan and England will take place on October 7, followed by the second Test on October 15 at Multan Cricket Stadium. The final match of the series is scheduled for October 24 at Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium.
