Pakistan's cricket team captain, Mohammad Rizwan, has stated that the team’s entire focus is on the upcoming One Day International (ODI) series in preparation for the Champions Trophy.

Speaking at a press conference in Paarl, South Africa, Rizwan emphasized that the team is entering the ODI series with the Champions Trophy in mind. "We aim to maintain our good rhythm in ODIs and will strive to keep it intact," he said. "In our team, every player is a captain, and we always use the word 'we' instead of 'I.'"

Rizwan acknowledged that the T20 series did not yield the expected results but assured that the team is learning from past mistakes. "We leave past failures behind, but we learn from them," he added. "The ODI series will be a tough competition."

Continuing his thoughts, Rizwan explained that the team is giving opportunities to young players in the T20 format to experiment and build experience. "Our team dynamics are great; we are united, whether we are juniors or seniors, and our focus is on the team's success."

The captain also highlighted the importance of adapting to different playing conditions. "We try to build our team according to the conditions we face. Playing abroad always presents challenges," he said.

Rizwan acknowledged that South Africa comes into the series with momentum after their recent victories, but Pakistan has also enjoyed success. "We defeated Australia in Australia and also won the series in Zimbabwe," he concluded.
