The Pakistan cricket team is set to embark on a journey to Harare today, brimming with renewed energy as they prepare for the upcoming white-ball series against Zimbabwe. The squad will travel via Dubai, departing from Melbourne, Australia.

Key members of the ODI squad, including skipper Mohammad Rizwan, vice-captain Agha Salman, Haris Rauf, Irfan Khan, Haseebullah, Aamir Jamal, Abrar Ahmed, Abdullah Shafique, Kamran Ghulam, Ahmed Daniyal, Faisal Akram, Mohammad Hasnain, Qasim Akram, Shahnawaz Dahani, Tayyab Tahir, Arafat Minhas, and Abbas Afridi, are en route to Zimbabwe.

Meanwhile, senior players Shaheen Afridi, Naseem Shah, and Babar Azam, who were part of the squad against Australia, will return to Pakistan. Head coach Aaqib Javed will join the team in Zimbabwe once his travel arrangements are finalized.

Pakistan enters this series on the back of a remarkable achievement — a historic 2-1 victory in the three-match ODI series against Australia, their first ODI series triumph on Australian soil in 22 years. Despite the milestone, the Men in Green faced setbacks in the T20I format, suffering a 3-0 whitewash.

Following the conclusion of the white-ball series against Australia, Pakistan will travel to Zimbabwe for a scheduled three-match ODI and T20I series.
