The Pakistan cricket team is one of the 12 teams that have secured their spot in the T20 World Cup 2026, set to take place in India and Sri Lanka.
As hosts, India and Sri Lanka automatically qualify. The other seven teams earned their places by reaching the Super 8 stage of the ongoing 2024 T20 World Cup. These teams include Afghanistan, Australia, Bangladesh, England, South Africa, the USA, and the West Indies.The T20 World Cup 2026 will also feature 20 teams, divided into four groups of five sides each.
The 2026 T20 World Cup will feature a total of 20 teams, organized into four groups, each comprising five teams. Ireland, New Zealand, and Pakistan have qualified based on the current ICC T20I rankings.
