The team will be led by Shan Masood, who is captaining the side in a home series for the first time, with Saud Shakeel serving as the vice-captain.

The squad is set to feature a strong bowling attack, comprising four fast bowlers.

Furthermore, this match marks the debut of Jason Gillespie as the coach of the Pakistan cricket team.
