Numerous players of Pakistani origin will be representing countries other than Pakistan in the upcoming T20 World Cup 2024.

We look at some of these talents who will be showcasing their skills on the international stage.

Kaleem Sana Rehman (Canada)

Originally from Pakistan, Kaleem Sana Rehman made his first-class debut in 2008 before relocating to Canada due to limited opportunities in his home country. Since his move, he has become a crucial member of Canada's T20I team, leading their pace attack with 27 wickets in 16 matches.

Bilal Khan (Oman)

Oman’s cricket team includes several players of Pakistani origin, among them is the experienced Bilal Khan. Since making his international debut in 2018, Bilal has taken over 100 international wickets, proving himself as a consistent performer for Oman.

Aqib Ilyas (Oman)

Aqib Ilyas, Oman's current captain, has been vital to the team’s success. Moving to Oman as an infant, Aqib has scored 1176 runs in 48 T20I matches, establishing himself as a key player.

Riazat Ali Shah (Uganda)

Riazat Ali Shah moved from Pakistan to Uganda at the age of 16 and has since been a significant contributor to Uganda's cricket team, particularly in World Cup qualifiers. With 1212 runs in 57 matches, he is an essential part of Uganda’s batting lineup.

Zeeshan Maqsood (Oman)

Former Oman captain Zeeshan Maqsood has been instrumental in the team’s achievements, scoring 1295 runs in 65 T20I matches. Although he will play only as a batter in this World Cup, his experience remains invaluable.

Ali Khan (USA)

Ali Khan, originally from Attock in Pakistan, has been representing the USA in international cricket. The former Kolkata Knight Riders pacer made his T20I debut in 2021 and has taken 9 wickets in 8 matches.

Shayan Jahangir (USA)

Shayan Jahangir, a hard-hitting wicketkeeper-batter born in Karachi, has made significant strides since his ODI debut for the USA in 2022. He achieved his T20I debut against Bangladesh and aims to showcase his batting skills in the World Cup.

Saad Bin Zafar (Canada)

Junaid Siddiqui (Canada)

Junaid Siddiqui, born in Karachi, is a key player for Canada. The 39-year-old leg-break bowler has participated in 8 ODIs and 20 T20Is, providing valuable experience to the team.
