Several Pakistani bowlers have improved their positions in the latest ICC T20I rankings, following their recent performances in international matches.

Pace duo Haris Rauf and Abbas Afridi have made a jump, as both are now tied at the 18th spot with 605 rating points each. Left-arm fast bowler Shaheen Afridi has also moved up and now sits at number 35 with 552 points.

All-rounder Shadab Khan, who is also the team’s vice-captain, has climbed to the 58th position. He shares this spot with leg-spinner Abrar Ahmed, with both players having 476 rating points.

However, not all updates were positive for Pakistan. Pacer Naseem Shah and Sufiyan Muqeem have slipped in the rankings. Naseem is now at 92nd with 407 points, while Sufiyan stands at 95th with 406 points.

New Zealand’s Jacob Duffy remains the top-ranked T20I bowler, followed by England’s Adil Rashid at second. India’s Varun Chakaravarthy has dropped to third place.

In the batting rankings, Pakistan’s experienced duo Babar Azam and Mohammad Rizwan have held on to their 12th and 13th positions, respectively. Wicketkeeper-batter Mohammad Haris remains at number 30.

Young batter Hasan Nawaz has fallen to 46th, while Saim Ayub has dropped to 62nd. The team’s T20I captain has slipped two places to 76th with 430 points, and Fakhar Zaman is now ranked 87th after dropping one spot.

Australia’s Travis Head continues to lead the T20I batting rankings, followed by India’s Abhishek Sharma. England’s Phil Salt has fallen to fourth place, making room for Indian batter Tilak Varma, who has moved up to third.
