For Mickey Arthur, the current team director of the Men in Green, winning the upcoming 2023 World Cup in in India is the ultimate goal for Pakistan team.

But Arthur's ambitions for the Pakistan cricket team don't stop at the World Cup. He also wants to lead the team to victory in a Test series in Australia, one of the toughest challenges in world cricket. Arthur has already achieved this feat once before with South Africa, and he believes that it is possible for Pakistan to do the same.

"The goal is to win the World Cup. The second one would be to go to Australia and win a Test series. I was lucky enough to experience that with South Africa, and there's nothing better. Those are two very achievable goals," Arthur said on Saturday.

Arthur is also known for his keen eye for talent and his ability to nurture young players. The 54-year-old also spoke highly of two up-and-coming cricketers in the Pakistan team, Mohammad Haris and Saim Ayub.

"Mohammad Haris is a vibrant character, he's been great fun. I watched him bat, and he's unbelievable. Saim Ayub is an incredible talent. He's got it all. He can be that player for us that can dominate overs 10-40 at times," he said.
