Pakistan women's cricket team captain, Fatima Sana, has suffered a personal tragedy following the death of her father in Karachi today. 

Fatima, who is currently in Dubai for the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup, will depart for Karachi on the first available flight to be with her family.

Chairman of the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), Mohsin Naqvi, expressed his deep sorrow and offered condolences to Fatima and her family. In his message, he prayed for the departed soul's eternal peace and for strength for the family to cope with the loss.

The Pakistan women's cricket team, including players and management, also extended their heartfelt condolences to Fatima during this difficult time.
