Pakistan had a horrible outing with the bat against New Zealand in the fourth match of the tri-series at Hagley Oval in Christchurch.

After opting to bat first, Babar Azam and his men managed to post a total of 130/7 in 20 overs. Iftikhar Ahmed top-scored with 27 runs off as many balls while Asif Ali remained not out for 25.

Altogether Pakistan batters hit only 15 fours and surprisingly not a single six was hit in the entire innings. The Men in Green now have an unwanted record of not hitting a single six in entire innings in New Zealand. It has happened for the first time in 77 T20Is played in the country.

On the other hand, Pakistan team failed to hit a six in a complete T20I after eight years. The last time it was against Australia in Dubai in 2014.

New Zealand returned stronger today and bagged a big nine-wicket win. Afer restricting Pakistan to a low total, batters chased down the total in 16.1 overs on the loss of one wicket only.
