Recently, there has been some criticism on social media directed towards Haris Sohail, a Pakistani cricketer, over his fitness level. This criticism came after a photo of him during Pakistan's training camp was shared on social media platforms.
In the photo, Haris seem to have put on some weight, which led some social media users to question his fitness level. They claimed that he did not look fit enough to play cricket professionally and criticized him for not taking his fitness seriously.

This criticism is not uncommon in the world of sports, especially in cricket where fitness is considered a crucial aspect of a player's performance. However, it is important to note that judging a player's fitness based on a single photo is not a fair assessment.
There are several factors that can affect a player's appearance in a photo, such as the timing of the photo, the angle, and the lighting.
Pakistan wicketkeeper, Azam Khan, was also recently criticised for his fitness and his PSL head coach at Islamabad United advised him to work on his fitness.
Azam struggled during the three-game T20I series against Afghanistan in Sharjah, scoring just one run in two innings, and his performance behind the stumps drew negative feedback as well.
“He [Azam] is a phenomenal cricketer. When he is playing well, he is a wonderful striker of the cricket ball but he needs to work on his fitness and he realises that himself,” said Mahmood.
