Pakistan's hopes of advancing to the semi-finals of the ICC Champions Trophy 2025 have been shattered after a series of disappointing losses.

The team first lost to New Zealand by 60 runs in Karachi, followed by another defeat to India by 6 wickets in Dubai. With these two losses, Pakistan's chances of qualifying for the semi-finals now rely on favorable results from other matches.

However, New Zealand's victory over Bangladesh in Rawalpindi on Monday, February 24, made it clear that Pakistan will not be able to make it to the semi-finals. With this win, New Zealand secured a spot in the semi-finals, while Bangladesh's hopes were also dashed, as they were eliminated from the tournament.

Now, New Zealand and India have both qualified for the semi-finals from Group B.

The top two teams from each group will move forward to the semi-finals, with the winner of the each semi-finals facing each other in the final, set to take place at Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore on March 9.

Final will move to Dubai if India qualifies for it.
