Pakistan concluded their Women's Under-19 T20 World Cup campaign with a 52-run victory over Samoa in Johor on Friday. This match was part of the play-offs for ranking positions among teams that did not advance to the Super Sixes.

Batting first, Pakistan posted a total of 136 for 8 in their 20 overs. Opener Maham Anees top-scored with 28 runs off 42 balls, while Fatima Khan contributed a quick-fire 25 runs from 14 balls, including three fours and a six. The team benefited from 21 extras conceded by Samoa's bowlers, which included 18 wides.

Samoa's medium pacer, Norah Salima, was the standout bowler, taking three wickets and conceding just five runs per over. However, the rest of the bowling attack struggled, allowing Pakistan to reach a competitive total.

In response, Samoa's batting faltered against Pakistan's disciplined bowling attack. Haniah Ahmer was particularly effective, claiming four wickets for 17 runs, including two wickets in the same over. Despite a valiant effort from opener Verra Farane, who scored 19 runs, Samoa were bowled out for 84 runs in 18.5 overs, handing Pakistan a comfortable victory.

This win allowed Pakistan to end their World Cup campaign on a positive note.
