Pakistan's 15-member squad will begin preparations on February 4 for the upcoming tri-nation ODI series and the ICC Men’s Champions Trophy 2025. The event will take place from February 19 to March 9, 2025.

The national team is set to assemble in Lahore for a series of training sessions ahead of the major tournament. The first training session will take place at the Lahore City Cricket Association (LCCA) ground on Wednesday afternoon. Additional sessions are scheduled for the evenings of February 5 and 6.

The squad will then hold their final training session on Friday evening, just before the tri-nation series kicks off on February 8. This series will feature Pakistan, New Zealand, and South Africa, and is part of Pakistan's preparation for the Champions Trophy 2025. The tri-nation series will run until February 14, with the final match scheduled in Karachi.

The tri-series will follow a single-league format, where each team plays against the other, with the top teams advancing to the final. This will be a crucial opportunity for Pakistan's ODI team as they look to defend their title in the Champions Trophy, which begins on February 19.

The Champions Trophy 2025 will be held across three venues in Pakistan — Karachi, Lahore, and Rawalpindi — with matches also taking place in Dubai. A total of 15 matches will be played between the eight participating teams during the tournament.

The first match of the series will be played between Pakistan and New Zealand at Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore on February 8. The next match, between South Africa and New Zealand, will take place on February 10 at the same venue. On February 12, Pakistan will face South Africa at National Stadium in Karachi, and the final of the series will be held in Karachi on February 14.
