Pakistan is gearing up to face off against Ireland in the second T20I of their ongoing three-match series on Sunday in Dublin.

After a disappointing loss in the first game where Ireland took the lead with a 1-0 score, Pakistan is eager to redeem themselves.

The first match showcased Ireland's dominance as they secured a convincing five-wicket win over Pakistan. To turn the tide and even the series, Pakistan plans to implement three changes in their lineup.

Abrar Ahmed is expected to step in for Shadab Khan, who struggled in the previous match, conceding 54 runs in four overs without taking any wickets. Agha Salman, selected with the aim of assessing his capabilities before the T20 World Cup, is likely to replace Azam Khan, who failed to leave a mark with the bat in the first T20I.

Furthermore, Mohammad Amir, who faced a visa delay, has now arrived in Ireland and is expected to be ready for the second T20I. His visa for Ireland was issued on Thursday, and he departed for Dublin during the early hours of Friday. It is anticipated that he will take the place of Abbas Afridi in the lineup.

Pakistan’s likely XI:

Saim Ayub, Babar Azam (C), Mohammad Rizwan (wk), Fakhar Zaman, Agha Salman, Iftikhar Ahmed, Imad Wasim, Shaheen Afridi, Naseem Shah, Mohammad Amir, Abrar Ahmed
