Pakistan is gearing up to face Ireland in their final match of the T20 World Cup 2024 this Sunday in Florida.

Both teams have already been eliminated from the tournament, with India and the USA advancing from Group A to the Super Eight stage.

Since the outcome of the match will not affect the standings, Pakistan is expected to make two changes to their lineup.

According to sources, Abrar Ahmed and Abbas Afridi are likely to get an opportunity in the dead rubber clash against Ireland.

This game might mark the final international appearance for Imad Wasim and Mohammad Amir, who recently came out of retirement but are now expected to retire again to focus on franchise cricket.

The national team will skip their practice session on Saturday due to rain, which has left the outfield too wet. Additionally, rain threatens to disrupt the match itself.
