Pakistan have decided to make one change in their playing XI for second T20I against Afghanistan in Sharjah on Sunday.

Mohammad Nawaz has replaced all-rounder Faheem Ashraf in the team, considering the slow nature of Sharjah pitch.

Faheem could only score two runs in the first T20I, whereas his bowling wasn’t utilized by the skipper, Shadab Khan.

Former cricketer, Rashid Latif, had also called for the inclusion of all-rounder, Nawaz, in order to bolster Pakistan spin stocks.

“We will have to make some changes. We were missing Iftikhar [Ahmed] and [Mohammad] Nawaz. We missed four overs of spin during our bowling and that made the difference,” Latif said.

“If not both, at least one of Iftikhar or Nawaz should have been part of the playing XI. You can’t go with less than three spinners on a UAE pitch,” he concluded.
