The white-ball tour of New Zealand will begin with the first T20I in Christchurch on March 16
The trophy for the upcoming T20I series between Pakistan and New Zealand was unveiled on Thursday at Port Hills. Pakistan’s top-order batter Mohammad Haris and New Zealand spinner Ish Sodhi had the honor of unveiling the trophy ahead of the five-match T20 international series.
Earlier, the Pakistan squad, led by captain Salman Ali Agha, arrived in New Zealand. The players rested yesterday and will head to the nets for practice today at 1 p.m. local time.
The 16-member Pakistan squad includes several young players, including Abdul Samad and Hassan Nawaz, who will look to make an impact during the series.
The white-ball tour of New Zealand will begin with the first T20I in Christchurch on March 16. Following that, Pakistan will travel to Dunedin for the second T20I on March 18. The third T20I will take place in Auckland on March 21, and the remaining two matches are scheduled in Mount Maunganui and Wellington on March 23 and 26, respectively.
After the T20I series, the two teams will compete in a three-match ODI series. The first ODI will be held in Napier on March 29, followed by the second ODI in Hamilton on April 2. The final ODI will take place in Mount Maunganui on April 5.
