The Pakistan team management has devised a strategy for the pitches to be used during the upcoming Test series against the West Indies.

According to sources, preparations for the pitches have already begun. Ground staff have been instructed to create spin-friendly surfaces for both matches to aid Pakistan's strategy.

Following these directives, Head Curator Tony Heming has designed a plan to keep the pitches dry and conducive for spinners.

As part of the strategy, the pitch has been completely covered, with heaters installed on either side under the covers. The innovative use of a greenhouse setup, introduced by Tony Heming, is aimed at maintaining warmth and eliminating moisture caused by the foggy conditions in Multan.

The greenhouse setup, which preserves heat and prevents it from escaping, is being used to ensure the pitch remains dry despite the challenges posed by the weather. Sources revealed that Heming has been working on this idea for some time to enhance pitch conditions in such situations.

The new measures underline the team's focus on creating optimal conditions for their spinners in the series against the West Indies.

The two Test matches are scheduled to take place at the Multan Cricket Stadium from January 17 to 21 and January 25 to 29.
