Several international stars who excelled in the recent Women's Asia Cup have achieved career-high ratings and made significant strides in the latest ICC Women's T20I Player Rankings.
India's Smriti Mandhana, opening batsman, led her team with a stellar 60-run knock in the Asia Cup final, propelling her to a career-best rating in the T20I batter rankings. She climbed one spot to fourth place, just behind Australia's Beth Mooney.
Chamari Athapaththu, the inspirational captain of Sri Lanka, soared three places to sixth on the T20I batter rankings, achieving her highest-ever rating after being named Player of the Tournament for her extraordinary performance. Athapaththu amassed a remarkable 304 runs at an average exceeding 100 during the tournament.
Muneeba Ali of Pakistan also achieved a career-high rating, rising six places to 35th in the T20I batter rankings due to her impressive performance in the Asia Cup. Similarly, Bangladesh's Nigar Sultana (up three spots to 14th), Sri Lanka's Harshitha Samarawickrama (up three places to 20th), and Pakistan's Gull Feroza (up 32 places to 64th) all made significant gains following their notable batting efforts in the tournament.
On the T20I bowlers' rankings, Pakistan's Sadia Iqbal reached a career-high rating, moving up one place to fourth, behind England's Sophie Ecclestone. Sadia's impressive eight wickets at an average of just 8.37 in the Asia Cup contributed to her rise.
India's Renuka Singh also made strides, climbing four places to fifth in the T20I bowlers' rankings after taking seven scalps at an average of 13.14 during the tournament. Her teammate Radha Yadav jumped seven places to 13th in the same list.
In the T20I All-Rounder rankings, Sri Lanka's Kavisha Dilhari moved up 10 places to 17th overall, bolstered by strong performances with both bat and ball in the Asia Cup. Her rise placed her just behind West Indies' Hayley Matthews in the rankings.
