Pakistan players have experienced a significant drop in the latest ICC rankings following their underwhelming performances in the ongoing ICC Champions Trophy 2025.

Several key players have dropped in the rankings, reflecting their struggles during the tournament.

Fakhar Zaman, who was initially ruled out of the tournament but made a comeback during the tri-nation ODI series, has fallen three places to 17th in the ICC ODI Batters' rankings. He now has 621 rating points.

Mohammad Rizwan, Pakistan's white-ball captain, scored just three runs against New Zealand and 46 against India. His lack of significant contributions has caused him to drop four places, from 16th to 20th, with 616 points.

Imam-ul-Haq maintains his 32nd position with 582 points, despite a disappointing 10-run performance in his ODI comeback against India in Dubai.

Saim Ayub, who has been out of action due to injury, dropped eight places to 35th with 572 points after a long absence from international cricket.

Vice-captain Salman Ali Agha remains in 46th place with 544 points, having scored 42 runs against New Zealand and 19 against India.

On the other hand, India's Virat Kohli has re-entered the top five in the ODI rankings. Kohli's 51st ODI century against Pakistan helped him gain one spot, moving up to 5th place.

India continues to dominate the ODI rankings, with Shubman Gill (1st) and Rohit Sharma (3rd) holding onto their positions in the top five, thanks to their consistent performances in the Champions Trophy. Gill has extended his lead at the top to 817 rating points. Despite a challenging tournament, Pakistan's Babar Azam remains in 2nd place with 770 rating points.

Several players have seen significant gains in the rankings. Will Young of New Zealand jumped eight places to 14th, Ben Duckett of England climbed 27 places to 17th, and Rachin Ravindra moved up 18 spots to 24th after their impressive centuries in the tournament.

India's KL Rahul improved his ranking by two places, moving up to 15th, while South Africa's Rassie van der Dussen rose three places to 16th.

In the ICC ODI bowlers' rankings, Shaheen Shah Afridi has dropped five places to 9th with 619 rating points due to his poor performances in the ongoing tournament. His fellow pacer Haris Rauf also experienced a decline, falling six places to 22nd with 553 points. However, Naseem Shah moved up two places to 42nd with 491 points.

Leg-spinner Abrar Ahmed, despite taking only two wickets in total against India and New Zealand, made a notable jump, climbing 26 places to 49th with 470 points.

Sri Lankan spinner Maheesh Theekshana continues to hold the top spot in the ODI bowlers' rankings with 680 rating points, despite Sri Lanka not participating in the Champions Trophy. Afghanistan's Rashid Khan remains in second place.

Other notable movers include Keshav Maharaj of South Africa, who rose one place to 4th, Matt Henry of New Zealand, who moved up two places to 6th, and Adam Zampa of Australia, who gained two spots to 10th.

South Africa's Kagiso Rabada moved up four places to 16th, and New Zealand's Michael Bracewell made a massive leap, climbing 31 places to 26th.
