The International Cricket Council (ICC) has released its latest rankings across various formats, with notable changes for Pakistan players.
In the ICC T20I bowler rankings, Pakistan has no player in the top ten. Shaheen Afridi slipped one spot to 21st, while Haris Rauf dropped three places to 26th. Meanwhile, West Indies’ Akeal Hosein ascended to the top spot, while England’s Adil Rashid and Sri Lanka's Wanindu Hasaranga fell to second and third, respectively.
In the T20I batter rankings, Australia’s Travis Head continues to hold the top spot. England's Phil Salt and India’s Tilak Varma are ranked second and third. Pakistan’s Babar Azam has moved up one position to secure the sixth spot, while Mohammad Rizwan, the wicketkeeper-batter, fell two places to eighth.
In the ICC ODI player rankings, former Pakistan captain Babar Azam remains at the top, holding onto his number one spot. India’s Rohit Sharma, Shubman Gill, and Virat Kohli continue to occupy second, third, and fourth positions, respectively.
In the ODI bowling rankings, Afghanistan’s Rashid Khan stays at the top, with Shaheen Afridi in second place and South Africa’s Keshav Maharaj in third.
Lastly, in the ODI all-rounder rankings, Afghanistan’s Mohammad Nabi maintains his number one position. Zimbabwe’s Sikandar Raza is in second place, while Bangladesh’s Mehidy Hasan moved up one position to third.
