Pakistan qualifies for semi-finals of Under-19 Asia Cup 2024

In the ACC Under-19 Asia Cup, Pakistan has secured a spot in the semi-finals after defeating the United Arab Emirates (UAE) by 69 runs in their second match.

The match, played in Dubai, saw Shahzaib Khan score his second consecutive century of the tournament, making 132 runs. Riaz Ullah also contributed with a brilliant 106 runs. 

Pakistan, batting first, posted a total of 314 runs for the loss of 3 wickets in their allotted 50 overs. In reply, UAE was restricted to 245 runs, giving Pakistan a comfortable 69-run victory.

Pakistan's first wicket fell at 94 runs, with Usman Khan scoring 41. In a solid partnership, Shahzaib Khan and Mohammad Riaz Ullah put together an impressive 183-run stand for the second wicket. 

Shahzaib Khan played a brilliant knock of 132 runs, including 6 sixes and 11 fours, while Riaz Ullah scored 106 runs. 

UAE, in their chase, managed to score 245 runs, with Ethan Carl D'Souza contributing 84 runs and Rayan Khan making 50 runs. 

Abdul Subhan delivered an outstanding bowling performance, taking 6 wickets for 57 runs. 

With this win, Pakistan has qualified for the semi-finals from their group in the Under-19 Asia Cup.
