The Pakistan Shaheens cricket team is set to face Bangladesh ‘A’ in their second four-day match at Islamabad Club on Tuesday, 20th August, following a draw in the first encounter.

Both squads have undergone significant reshuffles, with Shaheens introducing eight new players and Bangladesh ‘A’ making six changes post their Test squad’s departure for national duty.

Kamran Ghulam, an uncapped top-order batsman released from the Pakistan Test squad, alongside Abrar Ahmed, will lead the Shaheens in this crucial fixture. The revamped Shaheens squad includes Abrar Ahmed, Ali Zaryab, Imam Ul Haq, Mohammad Awais Anwar, Niaz Khan, Qasim Akram, Rohail Nazir, and Sharoon Siraj, replacing several key players from the first match.

Bangladesh ‘A’ has brought in Mohammad Naim, Mohammad Saifuddin, Saif Hassan, Soumya Sarkar, Towhid Hridoy, and Zakir Ali to bolster their lineup, following the departure of Hasan Mahmud, Mahmudul Hasan Joy, Mominul Haque, Mushfiqur Rahim, Nayeem Hasan, and Zakir Hasan.
