The Pakistan cricket team, led by Mohammad Rizwan, landed in Dubai on Thursday afternoon for their high-stakes match against India in the ICC Champions Trophy 2025. The much-anticipated encounter is set to take place at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium (DISC) on Sunday.

The squad traveled from Karachi to Dubai on a special Pakistan Air Force (PAF) aircraft. Along with the players, six Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) officials and chairman Mohsin Naqvi also made the journey. Naqvi will personally oversee preparations for the blockbuster match against arch-rivals India, who are playing all their Champions Trophy games at this venue.

After their arrival in Dubai, the Pakistan players will take a rest day before beginning their preparations for the must-win match. They will hold a training session at the ICC Cricket Academy on Friday.

Pakistan’s campaign in the tournament began on a disappointing note as they suffered a 60-run defeat against New Zealand in the opening match at the National Bank Stadium in Karachi on Wednesday.
