New Zealand officials have softened the quarantine restrictions on the members of the Pakistan squad. The individuals are now allowed to walk around for a little while in their respective groups for a particular time.

The softening of the restrictions are only applicable for members of the squad who have tested negative twice.

The individuals can only walk around in the hotel’s ground. The members of the squad have also been granted permission to go into the balconies and could even talk to each other in that area of the premises.

The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has also requested New Zealand Cricket (NZC) to allow the players to return to training quickly. The national team will undergo another round of testing on November 30.

It must be noted that seven members of the Men in Green squad have already tested positive for the virus, since their arrival in New Zealand, and are currently in isolation.
