Pakistan’s cricket team, led by Mohammad Rizwan, has arrived in Karachi for their important tri-series match against South Africa, set to take place at the National Bank Stadium on Wednesday.

The squad reached the city on Sunday evening and will hold a three-hour training session at the stadium on Monday afternoon to prepare for the must-win game.

Pakistan had a tough start to the tri-series, losing their first match to New Zealand by 78 runs. The Blackcaps posted a big total of 330/6, thanks to a brilliant century from Glenn Phillips, who scored 106 runs off 74 balls.

New Zealand captain Kane Williamson and Daryl Mitchell also made key contributions, scoring 58 and 81 runs, respectively.

In reply, Pakistan’s batting struggled and was bowled out for 252, despite Fakhar Zaman’s fighting knock of 84 runs off 69 balls.

With the tri-series at stake, the home side will be looking to bounce back against South Africa and keep their chances alive.
