The Pakistan cricket team and coaching staff came together in Karachi to offer their condolences to white-ball head coach Mike Hesson following the passing of his mother.

A special dinner was hosted by team manager Naved Akram Cheema ahead of the start of the white-ball training camp. During the gathering, a one-minute silence was observed to honour the memory of Hesson’s late mother, as players and staff paid their respects.

The training camp officially began on Wednesday, July 9, at the National Bank Stadium in Karachi, and will continue until July 15. The camp is part of the team’s preparations for the upcoming three-match T20I series against Bangladesh, scheduled to take place in Dhaka later this month.

Meanwhile, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) confirmed that five senior players have been added to the camp. These include Babar Azam, Mohammad Rizwan, Shaheen Shah Afridi, Mohammad Wasim Jr, and Naseem Shah.

All players, including the original 15-member squad announced earlier, are expected to report to the camp in Karachi.

The PCB also announced that Pakistan’s T20I captain, Salman Ali Agha, will address the media in a press conference on July 15 before the team departs for Bangladesh.
