The Pakistan cricket team has arrived in Wellington for the fifth and final T20I against New Zealand, which will take place on March 26 at Sky Stadium. The team will begin their practice session at 1 p.m. local time on March 25.

Pakistan is trailing 3-1 in the series after struggling in the previous matches. In the fourth T20I at Mount Maunganui on March 23, New Zealand secured a big 115-run win, sealing the series with one match left.

New Zealand put up a strong total of 220 for six, with Finn Allen smashing 50 off 20 balls. Pakistan, in response, was all out for 105 in 16.2 overs, as the hosts' fast bowlers dominated. This was Pakistan’s biggest defeat by runs in T20I history.

The series began on March 16 in Christchurch, where New Zealand won by five wickets. In the second match on March 18 in Dunedin, the hosts chased down Pakistan’s 135-run total to win by five wickets again.

Pakistan’s only victory came in the third T20I on March 21 in Auckland, where they successfully chased a 205-run target to keep the series alive temporarily.

Even though New Zealand has already won the series, Pakistan will try to finish on a high note in the final match. Captain Salman Ali Agha and his team will aim to improve their performance and take some confidence from the game.

New Zealand, on the other hand, will look to continue their dominance and finish the series with a 4-1 victory.

The last T20I will start at 2:15 p.m. local time on March 26 at Sky Stadium in Wellington.
