The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) officially revealed the national team’s jersey for the upcoming ICC Men’s Champions Trophy 2025 during a grand ceremony at the newly renovated Gaddafi Stadium on Friday.
The event featured Pakistan’s 15-member squad, who presented the new kit in front of fans and officials. To mark the occasion, PCB also released a special one-minute promo video, starring Mohammad Rizwan, Babar Azam, Fakhar Zaman, Shaheen Shah Afridi, and women’s cricketers Sadia Iqbal and Fatima Sana.
As the host nation and defending champions, Pakistan will begin their tournament campaign on February 19 against New Zealand at Karachi’s National Bank Stadium. Their most anticipated match, against arch-rivals India, is scheduled for February 23 in Dubai. Pakistan will then face Bangladesh on February 27 in Rawalpindi for their final group-stage game.
The eight-team tournament will feature 15 matches from February 19 to March 9 across Karachi, Lahore, Rawalpindi, and Dubai. The teams are divided into two groups:
- Group A: Pakistan, India, New Zealand, Bangladesh
- Group B: Afghanistan, South Africa, England, Australia
A total of 10 matches will take place in Pakistan, while Dubai will host four matches, including all of India’s group games and the first semi-final. The final is set to be played in Lahore, but if India qualifies, it will be moved to Dubai. A reserve day has also been set aside for the final in case of any weather delays.
