Haris Rauf confirmed that he is fully fit, adding that he bowled ten overs in the match against New Zealand
Pakistan cricket team’s fast bowler Haris Rauf has stated that there is no pressure in the match against India, and all players are relaxed. He emphasized that it is a normal game, and Pakistan will treat the India match just like any other cricket match.
While speaking to the media in Dubai, Haris Rauf confirmed that he is fully fit, adding that he bowled ten overs in the match against New Zealand, proving his match fitness.
He recalled that Pakistan has already defeated India twice at the Dubai Cricket Stadium and expressed confidence in trying to secure another victory this time.
Discussing the upcoming fixture, the fast bowler said that the team has moved past the New Zealand match and is now focused on playing against India while adapting to Dubai’s conditions.
Haris Rauf stressed the importance of learning from past mistakes to advance in the tournament and qualify for the semi-finals. He added that all players are determined to give their best performances.
Speaking about injuries, he noted that they can happen anytime, even while walking. “Some things are beyond our control, so there is no point in worrying about them,” he said.
Commenting on team selection, Haris acknowledged that the absence of Fakhar Zaman and Saim Ayub has disrupted the team combination. However, he expressed confidence in the available players stepping up with strong performances.
When asked about the soaring ticket demand for the Pakistan-India clash in Dubai, Haris Rauf responded humorously, saying, “I have no idea about match tickets or passes.”
It is worth mentioning that Pakistan and India will face off in the ICC Champions Trophy on Sunday in Dubai.
