The tours are set to begin with Zimbabwe visiting Pakistan in April-May 2026
For the first time, Pakistan’s women’s cricket team will host England, New Zealand, and Zimbabwe as part of the recently announced ICC Women’s Future Tours Programme (FTP) for 2025-2029. This historic series of home tours highlights Pakistan's growing role in the international women’s cricket arena.
The tours are set to begin with Zimbabwe visiting Pakistan in April-May 2026. New Zealand will follow in April 2027, while England will tour in October of the same year. These fixtures are part of the ICC Women’s Championship, where 11 teams will compete to earn a spot in the 2029 ICC Women’s 50-over World Cup. Notably, Zimbabwe will make its Championship debut in this cycle.
In the Championship format, each team plays four home and four away series, totaling 132 ODIs across 44 series, with each series featuring three matches. Besides the tours to Pakistan, Bangladesh will visit in October 2028.
Pakistan’s away series include tours to South Africa in February 2026, Sri Lanka in July 2026, the West Indies in November 2026, and Ireland in June 2028. Additionally, Ireland will host Pakistan and the West Indies in a tri-series before the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup 2026 in England.
The FTP also includes a major ICC tournament every year: the Women’s Cricket World Cup 2025 in India, the Women’s T20 World Cup 2026 in England, the Women’s Champions Trophy debut in 2027, and another Women’s T20 World Cup in 2028.
