Pakistan Women’s U-19 cricket team will play against the host nation, Malaysia, in the fifth and sixth-place playoff of the ACC Women’s U-19 T20 Asia Cup on Wednesday. According to reports, following defeats in both their group-stage matches, Pakistan's U-19 women’s team failed to advance to the Super Four stage of the ongoing 6-team tournament in Kuala Lumpur. As a result, they will now compete for the fifth and sixth positions.  

The Green Shirts are scheduled to return home on Thursday. In Group A, Pakistan faced losses in both their opening matches, losing by 9 wickets to India and by 6 wickets to Nepal. Meanwhile, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh advanced to the Super Four stage from Group A.  

The final of the tournament will take place on December 22.
