Australia's Test captain Pat Cummins and his teammates enjoyed golf on off-day at the Lahore Gymkhana Golf Club on Friday morning.
Josh Hazlewood, Scott Boland and Mark Steketee plus seven staff members, played a round of golf as the squad took time off ahead of the final Test of the three-match series against Pakistan, set to get underway at the Gaddafi Stadium on Monday 21 March.
This was the first time the visitors stepped outside the hotel during their visit to Pakistan. The right-arm pacer had a pleasant experience from his outing as he felt relaxed spending time away from cricket.
"I enjoyed playing golf today, I got up early in the morning. My other teammates also enjoy this sport, while Josh Hazelwood plays well. Spending time away from cricket and having a chit-chat was relaxing,"
Meanwhile, Cummins thanked Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) and other relevant stakeholders for providing them the excellent security and other arrangements.
"We are eagerly waiting for the Lahore Test. We were close to victory in the second Test. We played excellent cricket in Karachi but feel sad not to win the Test match," he added.
