Former England captain Paul Collingwood has predicted his semi-finalist teams for the upcoming ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2024, set to be co-hosted by the United States and West Indies.

In an interview with Star Sports, Collingwood, who led England to victory in the 2010 T20 World Cup, chose India, England, Australia, and the West Indies as his top picks to reach the semi-finals of the tournament.

"I'm obviously going to pick England. I believe the West Indies, playing on their home turf, have a good understanding of the ground dimensions. Australia always manages to perform well in world tournaments. My fourth pick is India," Collingwood explained.

The tournament is set to begin on June 1, with the USA, one of the hosts, facing off against Canada.

The competition will feature teams divided into four groups, with the top two from each group advancing to the Super Eight stage. The Super Eight will be further split into two groups, and the top two teams from each will move on to the semi-finals.
