Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has allowed centrally contracted players to feature in season two of the Kashmir Premier League (KPL).

The decision was made after KPL Director Rashid Latif requested PCB Chairman Ramiz Raja to allow centrally contracted players to feature in the tournament.

Seven players will now be available for different franchises as they will not be part of the Pakistan team during the national assignment.

Cricketers who have received NOCs include Azhar Ali, Fawad Alam, Abid Ali, Nauman Ali, Usman Ali, Muhammad Huraira and Haseebullah.

Earlier, PCB had barred contracted players from featuring in the league.
