The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has announced a seven-member squad for the highly anticipated Hong Kong World Sixes 2024, with all-rounder Faheem Ashraf leading the side. The tournament, which returns to the international cricket calendar after a six-year hiatus, will take place from 1 to 3 November at the Kowloon Cricket Club, Hong Kong.

Pakistan has a proud history in the tournament, having claimed the title four times since its inception in 1993. They were runners-up five times, including the last edition in 2017 when they narrowly missed out on the trophy, losing to South Africa in the final.

The Hong Kong Sixes, known for its fast-paced, exciting format, has drawn in teams from cricketing heavyweights such as India, Australia, England, and South Africa. The reigning champions, South Africa, and England have each won the tournament five times, while Pakistan is close behind with four titles.

Former Test wicketkeeper-batter Saleem Yousuf will travel with the team as manager, adding his wealth of experience to the squad.
