The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has announced the schedule for tri-nation ODI series involving Pakistan, New Zealand, and South Africa. The series will follow a single-league format and will be played from February 8 to 14. Lahore’s Gaddafi Stadium will host the first two matches, while Karachi’s National Bank Stadium will stage the final league game and the grand finale.

The series opener will take place on Saturday, February 8, when Pakistan faces New Zealand at the iconic Gaddafi Stadium. The match is set to begin at 2:00 PM local time. New Zealand will then take on South Africa in a day match at the same venue on Monday, February 10, with the toss scheduled for 9:00 AM.

The action will shift to Karachi’s National Bank Stadium, where Pakistan will meet South Africa in a day/night clash on Wednesday, February 12, starting at 2:00 PM. The final of the series is scheduled for Friday, February 14, with a 2:00 PM start.

In preparation for the series, Pakistan and New Zealand will train under the lights at Gaddafi Stadium on Thursday, February 6. South Africa’s first practice session at the venue will take place on the morning of Sunday, February 9.

This series will not only help the teams fine-tune their preparations for the ICC Champions Trophy 2025 but also serve as an opportunity for the PCB to showcase its upgraded cricket venues. Both Gaddafi Stadium and National Bank Stadium have undergone significant renovations to enhance the experience for players, spectators, and broadcast audiences.

At Gaddafi Stadium, the seating capacity has been increased with the installation of new chairs. Additionally, 480 modern LED lights have been installed to improve broadcast quality, and two large digital replay screens have been added for better fan engagement. A state-of-the-art hospitality enclosure for players and officials is also nearing completion.

Similarly, National Bank Stadium has seen upgrades, including 350 LED lights for better broadcast visibility, two replay screens, and the installation of 5,000 new chairs. A new hospitality enclosure for players and officials has also been constructed at the University End.
