Mohammad Yousuf replaces Shahid Aslam, who previously held the position of batting coach
Former Pakistan captain Mohammad Yousuf has been appointed as the new batting coach of the national men's cricket team. The announcement was made on Tuesday ahead of Pakistan's upcoming tour of New Zealand.
The series, scheduled to run from March 16 to April 5, will feature five T20Is and three ODIs. Yousuf replaces Shahid Aslam, who previously held the position of batting coach.
Aqib Javed will continue in his role as interim head coach for the New Zealand tour. Although Aqib's original term was set to end after the ICC Men’s Champions Trophy 2025, he has been asked to extend his tenure while the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) begins the search for a permanent head coach.
