A Board of Governors meeting is set to convene on Thursday as a number of Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) matters are set to be discussed including the board's fiscal budget, increment in salaries, Pakistan Junior League, and more.
Sources claim that a proposed budget for the new financial year will be sought out at the meeting, which will be held at the National High Performance Center under the leadership of PCB Chairman Ramiz Raja.
As reported before, the PCB will also discuss a 30 percent increment for all the centrally contracted players. Furthermore, the board will also assign separate categories for cricketers playing red and white-ball cricket.
The meeting is also set to discuss Ramiz Raja's vision of the Pakistan Junior League, which is set to kick off from this year. The league will only feature players under the age of 19.
It was recently announced that the franchise fee for the PJL is set at roughly Rs. 140 million.
