Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB)’s governing board has called up a high-level meeting on February 7 to review changes in domestic cricket structure and Pakistan Super League (PSL) season four.

According to Daily Express, the members of the body including PCB Chairman Ehsan Mani and Managing Director Wasim Khan will be briefed about the changes in domestic cricket structure.

The participants will also be briefed about preparations of the upcoming season of the PSL as well.

Former Pakistan Captain and Patron in chief of PCB, Imran Khan wants to remodel the cricket structure in the country and Mani is also in favour of doing the same.

Although few former cricketers and players are not in favour of remodeling the structure, but major changes are expected to take place in the upcoming season of the domestic cricket.

In this regard, the board had formed a task force under the supervision of Lieutenant General retired Muzamil Hussain, who will share details about the progress they have made in improving the structure.

In the last meeting, the body was allowed to pursue the suggestions made in the meeting.

Now, newly appointed MD Khan — who is expected to take charge of office from February 6 — will give his views on the suggestions made to improve the structure.

Furthermore, a briefing will also be given in the meeting regarding the preparation of the PSL season four and an update on National Stadium Karachi, which is scheduled to host the final of the league on March 17.
