Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Chairman Mohsin Naqvi has announced a luncheon for the workers involved in the upgradation of Gaddafi Stadium for the ICC Champions Trophy 2025.
According to sources, the luncheon will be held on February 7, as a gesture of appreciation for the laborers who have been working tirelessly on the stadium’s construction.
Chairman Naqvi is expected to personally thank the workers for their hard work and dedication, which has brought the project to its final stages.
Sources further revealed that the workers will also be invited to watch the first match scheduled to be held at the newly upgraded Gaddafi Stadium.
It is noteworthy that the finishing touches on the stadium are nearing completion.
The stadium is set to host two matches of the Tri-Series, followed by the opening match of the Champions Trophy on February 22.
